As recommended by my colleague, I decided to try REAL Energy Bar. It’s all natural ingredients, non GMO, dairy free, low in salt, wheat free, gluten free, no trans fat source of fibre, no sulphur dioxide, low GI value, no added artificial colours,, flavours or preservatives and etc. What else can you ask for? So far, I had the almond & apricot flavour. It has this coconuty taste which I don’t like – maybe the yoghurt ones tastes better. Hmm.

I know, I’m abit late. Here’s my Tuesday Food Roundup!

Breakfast: Nutella on toast, Nutrifresh

Lunch: Shokudo Omelette Pasta, really weird

Dinner: Steam chicken with ginger, steam french beans with baby tomatos, banana

And, I did 30-min of yoga last night. Till later!

Power Yoga. Cardio. Woo.

It’s 9:00pm. I should start studying for my exam soon. My body and mind are totally energized now. I just worked out for 45 min. I was planning to cook tonight but the sky starting pouring when I alighted my bus stop. So I just bought fried fish noodle soup from downstairs. It’s not the most healthy choice but I was craving something savoury and salty.

Lunch: Yong Tau Foo from Food Republic, Papaya

Snack: Raisin & Almond SOYJOY

Dinner: Fried Fish Noodle Soup, Banana, 1 x Mandarin Orange and Ginger/Honey Tea

No bad snacks today! YEAH!! Yoga always reset my mind and body balance. So I decided to do some Power Yoga today as taught by Rodney Yee. It would be best if I could attend classes but I think yoga/gym memberships in Singapore are expensive and unnecessary. I believe I can be fit without the unnecessary expenses. For instance, a DVD can last me a long long time. If you need to improve or proceed to advanced level, I believe you should get expert coaching. I am good for now. Here’s the 20-min Power Yoga I did today:

I didn’t sweat much while doing Power Yoga as much as I want to. So I did 25 min of cardio workout. Just to sweat it out. I feel good after that! My shoulder blade is really cramping up. I did some shoulder stretches in the office today. Hopefully I won’t break my back!! OK, back to the books.

Roast My Dinner

I am definitely going through a “roasting” phase! The oven is my new best friend. I had quite a late dinner considering it takes at least 35 min to roast vegetables. Bubster got home at 820pm, so that’s not a good sign. I had 3 x mandarin oranges to fill my tummy after pilates.

Dinner: Grill beef and roasted pumpkin, potatos, garlic, onion

Snack: 3 x mandarin oranges and fruit juice, a bite of Nutella on toast (not my sandwich!)

I did pilates – oh I always feel ultra-fresh after that. I did core, abs and buns – 10 min each. My abs were definitely trembling after. That’s good right? My body is getting more accustom to working out. My muscles don’t hurt so much. I definitely want to do evening yoga or at least 15 min of meditation later to calm my mind down.

OK back to the books. Dad’s birthday is tomorrow. I’ve to wish him tonight.
